Heritage Park Hotel Wedding

Heritage Park Hotel Wedding.

It is quite a while since Carly and Edwards’ Heritage Park Hotel Wedding. It was on New Years Eve 2014 that they tied the knot. Why so late posting? Well they have been travelling the World since, having the most amazing experiences and I make it a policy not to share a couples images until they have seen them first. They are back now so we are good to go.

A wedding on New Years Eve, in the middle of Winter is always going to pose challenges when it comes to available light. The ceremony time was quite late in the day as well, 3 pm so by the time the ceremony was over there was only a very brief window of daylight remaining. Add in the cold, the wind and the rain and the challenges mount up. Thankfully, Carly and Edward were an amazing couple to work with. They didn’t mind going out in the dark and the cold for their bride and groom pictures which was awesome. Their wedding was light hearted and fun, quite like a New Years Eve party which was something they wanted.

During this wedding I also had the pleasure of working with Amy Dowsell, a wedding planner from Perfect Planning. I must put a word out for her as it was astonishing to see the lengths she went to for Carly and Edward. Amy really took the strain of everything so that they could just enjoy their day. It was also clear that she had forged a relationship with this couple where it seemed as though they had known each other forever. I hope to get to work with Amy at Perfection Planning again as I feel any wedding she is involved with will be amazing.
