Bedwellty House Wedding

Deep in the heart of the Sirhowy Valley sits a gem of a Wedding Venue called Bedwellty House and Park. The House itself is beautiful with a lovely front facade, with a big bay window that somehow reminds me of The Whitehouse! At the side is a lovely area with some steps that offer great photo opportunities for your family formal photographs. Inside the building has a lovely mix of period features but coupled with modern facilities that make this a fabulous wedding venue. I loved being the wedding photographer at this Bedwellty House Wedding.

The Park would have to be the envy of many other wedding venues. Bedwellty House sits in a beautiful park that has so many wonderful photographic opportunities. There are the usual lovely landscape gardens, with vast open lawn areas decorated with an array of enormous and smaller trees. There is a bandstand, a flower garden, the wishing well area, the pagoda and many more features.

I have visited the house and park on many occasions so I am very familiar with it. In the past when I did portraits as part of my repertoire I would often use the park as a great location for outside portraits. I have also photographed several Bedwellty House Weddings as well but perhaps not as many as I would like. This certainly is a Venue that I would love to work at more.

After Hannah and Andrew booked me, we visited the park for their pre wedding photographs along with their lovely dog I will post images from their pre wedding photo shoot in the blog section of my site. Then their wedding day soon arrived and it was great that we were all familiar with each other. This always helps everyone to feel more relaxed for their wedding photographs.

I am predominantly a documentary wedding photographer and work very hard to give couples a very strong selection of images that capture the authentic moments of their wedding day. Most couples want the full range of images, such as lovely bride and groom romantic shots and family formals, but my style means couples really get to enjoy their wedding day without having an oppressive photographer taking over and dominating their time. I am completely the opposite to that and my couples often comment that they found the whole experience easy and relaxed.

So it is time to post some of Hannah and Andrews Bedwellty House Wedding photographs. I hope you enjoy looking at them and I would love to hear from you if you would like to have an informal chat about your day. Please Get In Touch to find out if your day is still available in my diary. Thank you.
